About Me

I’m Nicholas McIvor – an artist, designer and comic creator from Brisbane, Australia. I currently live and work in Toronto, Canada, but am available for freelance pretty much anywhere. I work primarily in digital, using Photoshop, Illustrator and occasionally Painter. As you’ll see here on this site, my skills are various, including character design, logo design and magazine layouts. I originally studied Animation in Australia, but I have since mostly drifted away from that path. Most recently, I studied publishing in Canada, and am currently pursuing a career in that field. My primary interest these days lays in comics and picture books, in publishing and in my own artistic work, but I’m open to all manner of work as a freelancer too.
